Custom visual to help with spacing and alignment in Power BI desktop. Basically a visual sizing calculator that tells the exact width a group of visuals should be based on parameters. Enter the number of visuals, the direction (horizontal or vertical) and the padding between them, and the visual outputs the width or height each visual should be to fill the space evenly. Similar to auto-layout functions in Figma.

We're adding over 10 polished, and functioning dashboards to the PBIX files. To do this, required more data and different datasets. We're adding multiple example data models with example datasets you'd use in the real-world. We're also polishing up the pre-made visuals.

Users must currently update their theme colors in Power BI after a theme is generated. We are enabling the ability to choose your own data colors or select from hand-picked palette options. This will be a massive upgrade over the monotone palettes that exist currently.

We're polishing up and refining how colors, fonts, font sizes, border radii, and border colors are applied in the theme files to make them even consistent and even more professional.

We’ve enhanced the theme generator with a full-size dashboard preview, allowing users to see their customizations in real-time before generating their theme. This makes it easier to fine-tune visual elements and ensure everything looks perfect.

Our design system has undergone several changes to refine the branding and layout. We’ve aimed for an intuitive and thoughtful design, and we’re pleased with the direction it’s taken.

We’ve added thousands of clean and consistent icons, available directly in Power BI Desktop and via image URLs. This is now the largest collection of icons created specifically for Power BI, and we hope it saves you time and enhances the style of your reports. Looking ahead, we plan to introduce the ability to bulk import your own images or icons into Power BI, just as we’ve done with our icon library.

We're excited to announce that a large selection of SVG visuals are now available in Power UI. These unique visuals are 100% customizable and are crafted using DAX and SVG. We've made many of the most common visuals (like progress bars) that are common in dashboard web designs but don't yet exist in Power BI, or require spending a long time and custom measures to create. These visuals use 100% core Power Bi functionality and only require setting some DAX variables to get working. We've created them so that the data values and colors are super simple to customize.
